Our interpretations of esteemed European classics favor integrating modern brewing methods with beer styles that have stood the test of time. We are constantly expanding our portfolio to include the styles preferred by brewers and beer drinkers from all over the world.
Lagers have always fascinated owner Tom Bull, primarily because he enjoys the challenge of brewing them. All of our recipes call for precision, patience and a lot of love.
Our lagers offer craft beer drinkers the opportunity to learn, understand and enjoy the long history of beer. They are a conversation. We believe they are a welcome respite from the hurry-up world. Did you know it takes at least 3 times longer to produce our Helles Lager, for example, than it does your average Pale Ale? (More about that on our brewery tour if you're interested.) Though it may be a slow process, the wait for a pure, smooth and satisfying hand-crafted lagerbier is well worth it.
At Dirigo Brewing, we are dedicated to satisfying the increasingly sophisticated and discerning palates of today's craft beer drinkers. But at the end of the day, we brew what we prefer - well-crafted lagers are by far our favorite beers to drink.
