New Hampshire allows a property tax benefit for open space lands under the program, which has been available since 1972. N.H. REV. STAT. ANN. § 79-A:1. The Department of Revenue administers this program. The landowner must apply with a minimum of ten acres. Management plans are optional but confer additional benefits to landowners.
