Camp Laughing Loon is a classic non-profit summer day camp that has offered a quintessential camp experience for campers ages 6-12 since 1918. After 103 seasons, we still strive to broaden the imaginations of our campers, nourish their curiosity, and celebrate their individual spirits through the joy and excitement of camp.
Located on the sunny shores of Little Ossipee Lake in East Waterboro, Maine, CLL is surrounded by water on three sides and nestled under majestic pine trees that frame our camp and add to its splendor. We are only a thirty-minute drive from Saco. Most of our campers are from southern Maine but we have ties to campers from all over the United States.
Our dedicated Camp Directors and experienced staff implement and carefully supervise a well-established quality camp program. Thoughtfully planned activities have been designed to meet the needs of the wide range of ages, interests, and abilities of our campers. A typical day will find campers at the waterfront for swimming and canoeing lessons from certified instructors. They will also have the opportunity to experience and learn about nature, deliver dramatic performances, express their artistic talents in the art barn, and learn the fundamentals of sports and good sportsmanship on our game field.
