Jim Katsiaficas has practiced environmental and land use law, municipal law and administrative law since 1985. He is a shareholder and director of the firm. He advises public and private clients in the areas of municipal, land use, zoning, environmental and administrative law. In the course of his practice, he has served as town attorney for a number of Maine municipalities. He also has represented both municipal and private clients in federal Superfund and State uncontrolled hazardous substance site matters and in several Brownfield site proceedings. He most recently was a Senior Staff Attorney for the Maine Municipal Association, and previously had been a director in a Portland law firm, Associate Corporation Counsel for the City of Portland and Assistant Director for State and Federal Relations for the Maine Municipal Association.
