Canoeing, Swimming
If boating, canoeing, or going for a lazy swim is your pleasure, we have everything you could want. The camps have a beautiful sand beach where you can relax and read a book, go for a swim, or launch a boat or canoe. The quiet of the pond, broken only by the call of the Loon, is one of the attributes people enjoy most about Great Pond Wilderness Lodge.
 
All Terrain Vehicles
 
Great Pond Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of some of the best snowmobiling and ATV terrain in the entire state. Miles of trails, logging roads, and ponds combine to offer the most complete riding experience possible.
 
Walking, Riding, Hiking, Fishing
Ride, walk, or hike to the many surrounding lakes, rivers, and streams. Enjoy casting for brook trout or salmon. The lake also offers brown trout and pickerel. Compare our small mouth bass fishing and we believe you will be satisfied. Fishing tackle and knowledgeable help are available at our shop.
 
For the Hunting Enthusiast
The cabins and lodge are surrounded by thousands of acres owned by different paper companies, each having its own lumber cutting practices. Also surrounding the cabins is state owned land that hasn't see a chain saw for years.
