For 86 years Camp Natarswi has been providing a unique camping experience for girls. Camp Natarswi is a true wilderness paradise, providing a one-of-a-kind, rustic, Maine outdoor experience, all in the shadow of majestic Mt. Katahdin, Maine’s highest peak. Natarswi hugs the shoreline of Lower Togue Pond.
Natarswi is located in Baxter State Park, home to awesome trails to hike, caves to explore, waterfalls to see, and peaks to climb.
Get to know Natarswi:
- 60-100 girls attend resident camp programs
- We offer 1,2,3, and 4-week programs
- Summer team consists of 25- 32 staff members
- Employment period 8 and 9 weeks
- Opportunity for additional weeks of employment in August
- One week of paid all staff training
- Additional certification week (if needed) may include: CPR, wilderness first aid, lifeguarding, canoeing, rock climbing, challenge course, hatchet throwing, archery, and others
