Multispectral Imaging has become a priority in precision agriculture. It is used to identify potential problems with plant health, irrigation issues, soil health, weed/pest infestations, and more before the problems are visible to the human eye. Our data collection can also be used to predict crop yields, provide detailed data and damage reports for crop insurers, and optimize fertilizer and nutrient usage to save money and avoid environmental damage. We can provide video or photos for marketing use as well!
This service is simple and low-maintanence for the farmer/ land owner; our licensed and insured drone pilot will fly our multispectral imaging drone over the desired fields, capturing images in visible light spectrums as well as those that are invisible to the human eye. A brief flight will capture enough information to provide detailed results with centimeter level accuracy. We will then create a detailed report of the results and send the information back to the farmer.
Multispectral Imaging can be used for plant/tree counts, tree health surveys, and identifying invasive species amongst your crops or wood lots.
These benefits can be used for field crops, orchards, or tree farms.
We understand that every minute counts in Maine's short growing season. Our goal at ABC is to provide the tools that Maine's farmers can use to get a jump start on correcting any problems that may be brewing before they have a chance to do serious damage!
ABC Drone Services also offers Thermal Imaging services. Our thermal camera can be used for building, solar, electrical, and other inspections, as well as to assist search and rescue efforts.
We are happy to work with insurance agents, agronomists, foresters, and other businesses to provide our services in partnership with their own as well.
We can also provide aerial photo/videography services for real estate and marketing!
