York Land Trust Updated:05/2021

Our goal is to conserve and protect our region’s lands of ecological, historic, scenic, agricultural and cultural significance. We are a member-supported, nonprofit organization and work with local, state and federal partners through the Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative (MtA2C). Together, we’ve helped permanently protect landscapes, waterways, wildlife and natural resources that define our community’s unique character. Today, there are more than 14,000 acres of protected land within a 48,000-acre area comprising portions of six southern Maine towns including Kittery, York, Eliot, the Berwicks and Wells.

To conserve and protect lands of ecological, scenic, agricultural, and educational significance in the greater York, Maine area, for the benefit of all.
