Richard Carbonetti, has served LandVest as Vice President for Timberland supervising a staff of 36 foresters & technicians and 14 admin staff managing over 1.7 million acres in the northeast US. He joined LandVest in 1995 when he merged his 18 year old forestry consulting firm with LandVest. He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a BS in Forestry. Carbo’s main role is the oversight of all of LandVest’s forest management projects. In this role he has led the development of LandVest as Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Group Certified Manager, has managed our many efforts in the negotiation and development of conservation easements on large timberland investments and has developed an industry leading forest products marketing team with LandVest’s wholly owned subsidiary LV Timber Co, LLC.
