Mount Kineo State Park Updated:04/2023

Description

Mount Kineo (elevation 1,789 feet) dominates Moosehead Lake. The cliff face rises dramatically 700 feet above the lake surface and provides critical habitat for rare plants and peregrin falcons. There is no road access to Mt. Kineo. Visitors can reach the park by boat from the public access site in Rockwood. Commercial shuttle service is avaiable during the summer months.
