Freeport Wild Bird Supply is pleased to announce an expanded selection of travel, tours, workshops, and other outings. We look forward to additional offerings in the near future. As soon as trips and programs are scheduled, they will be added here.
FREE Bird Walks
Geared towards birders of all skill levels, free, guided walks are offered every Saturday morning at 8:00 am. Walks meet at the Freeport Wild Bird Supply and usually involve a short car-pool trip to a local site of seasonal interest. Bring your binoculars, or borrow a pair of ours, and come on out to see some birds and learn about their habits!
Private Guiding Service
Derek Lovitch, of Freeport Wild Bird Supply, guides extensively in Maine, and throughout North America from Alaska's Pribilof Islands to New Jersey. He also works as an Associate Leader for WINGS.
Birding guide books are great, but instead, bring along a walking, talking bird guide. Up to date information, local expertise, and good company and conversation await. We can cater to a group of any size, from 1 to 100. Flexible, fun, educational, and rewarding!
